The thing with casual makeup is that it needs to appear as it is not even there. Its main job is to bring out the beauty, camouflage the imperfections and make face appear radiant. It’s as simple as that, or is it? How to apply daily casual makeup step by step?

Daytime makeup – how to prepare the face?

Before you go for that makeup products, you need to first prepare your skin. Start with some scrub or skin cleanse with a mild toner, then apply a moisturizing cream. Once the cream is absorbed, use some serum or a mattifying primer.

1. The foundation

The foundation needs to match skin complexion, no surprise there. In order to make the task easier, you should apply a small amount of cosmetic along the jawline. If the product does not stands out from the skin, means it’s matched correctly. It is best to apply it with a brush or a sponge, such as a beauty blender. As a last resort, you can use your fingers, however, it can have a negative impact on the product durability.

The foundation is applied to the skin starting from the middle of the face. For the most natural effect, instead of rubbing it, try the tapping motion. The foundation administer evenly to the entire face, except for the eyes area. To prevent mask effect the application needs to end at the jawline.

2. The concealer

The concealer dot onto the imperfections such as pimples, dark circles or spider veins and gently tap in with your finger. The skin around eyes treat with some highlighting concealer or a liquid highlighter. The concealer use also along the nose.

3. The loose powder

In order to mattify skin and fix makeup, go for the loose powder and with tapping motion apply it on to the skin. This cosmetic shouldn’t be too light nor should it contain shimmering particles. The best solution would be translucent powder.

4. The bronzer, blusher, and highlighter

These three products are used for the contouring. The bronzer goes along the cheekbones and hairline, while the blusher should be applied subtly on the cheeks. If you have a round face, the task will be easier when you smile. It will allow you to locate the top of the cheeks. On the other hand, on the top of the cheekbones, you need to use some highlighter for the extra glow.

5. The brow tint

You can skip this step if your an owner or thick and dark brows. However, if yours are sparse and fair, you should use some brow tint because it will provide eyebrows with nice color and shape.

6. The eyeshadows

For the casual makeup, you will need vanilla, brown and pewter eyeshadows. Start with vanilla on the entire eyelid, then use brown on the outer corner of the eye and blend it with a soft brush. The brown eyeshadow will also go on the lower eyelid. On the other hand, the pewter eyeshadow run along the upper eyelid. Helpfull will be thin eyeshadow brush.

7. The mascara

Apply three layers of mascara – both on the upper and lower eyelashes. The mascara wand should be cleaned on a regular basis so that there wouldn’t be any lumps.

8. The lipgloss

For the daily casual makeup, the lips should be gently touched with a lipgloss in natural shade. Strongly advised are light pink and peach.
