Removing make-up before going to bed is the foundation of care. It guarantees skin health and ensures its good condition. When we sleep with makeup on, we wake up with dark circles and puffy eyes, in the long run it results in wrinkles. You should remove makeup with a two-phase micellar water or natural oil. The best make-up removers not only remove makeup but it also moisturises and protects our skin. It is also important not to rub your eyes too much – makeup removal should be as gentle as possible.

Dehydrated skin quickly loses elasticity, it becomes tired and floppy. What’s more, wrinkles appear because the skin loses density. That is why it is important to apply a good moisturising eye cream. It must be delicate (too fat cream could overload the delicate skin). Ideally, the cream should contain natural ingredients that will not cause eye irritation or allergies. Additionally, the list of ingredients should include ceramides, elastin, collagen and liposomes, so the ingredients that tighten and smooth the skin.

Alternating heat and cold – this is the fastest and best home remedy for dark circles. Just soak a cotton pad in warm water (not hot!) and place on the under-eye skin for a few moments. Then place another pad with cold water this time – it should be repeated several times. You can also use some herbs to reduce the swollen eyes. These include lime, euphrasia, fennel. Just make herbal infusion and soak the cotton pad and place under your eyes. Another way is to regularly use a special eye gel with euphrasia.

The swelling around your eyes, just like dark circles, will no longer be your problem if you treat the skin properly. Here, cold compresses are recommended. Put a cotton pad soaked in water into the fridge and then place under your eyes. If you often have swollen eyes, you can buy special under-eye patches. Put them into the fridge for a few minutes and place under your eyes. They contain gel and are generally reusable. Another good idea is to use green tea. Steep two bags of tea, cool them down and put under your eyes – it works like a soothing compress, which also nourishes the skin.

It happens that the skin under our eyes is in poor condition. We went through hard days with little rest and we are getting ready for an important meeting or a date… Is there any way to give the tired skin a nice look? Of course, there is a whole range of products for special purposes – the most efficient are under-eye patches, often soaked in hyaluronic acid and flakes of gold, They improve the condition of skin and smooth wrinkles. I would also recommend under-eye masks, which are like a vitamin shot for tired and puffy skin.
